Biography
Lorenzo's Music is a 4-piece rock band from Madison, WI. The outfit consists of Tom Ray-singer, and keyboardist, Cliff Hammer-bassist, Eric Brusewitz-guitar, and Rob Gugel, who plays the drums.
They combine DIY, post-rock, and psych influences with sharp experimental sensibilities.
It's an artistic experiment of abstract music deconstruction creating music from live video streams, and random recordings as an audio collage.
The band is also a massive supporter of Creative Commons and open-source. So much so that they only use free and open-source tools in every aspect of their music using Ubuntu Studio (Linux), and Ardour DAW, and collaborating on these sessions using the file-sharing site GitHub.
