Dambodo Job Saad, Bududa District, Eastern Uganda Album

Dombodo Job Saad is a traditional musician, teacher, conductor, and arranger hired at the Arlington Academy of Hope, a primary school located deep in the gorgeous, but horribly underserved Bududa District in extreme Eastern Uganda, not too far from Mt. Elgon. On my first day in the country last summer (August 2017), I met him and managed to coax a few solo Adungu tunes from him. I also recorded him conducting and reheasing some 42 school children in an orchestre of Ugandan traditional instruments on track 4. Unfortunately, I got no pictures or video of any of this.
