Free Music Archive and Tribe of Noise have been leading resources for free to download and easy to license, original music for over a decade now and have become safe havens for independent musicians, music curators, and open minds.
However, in these crucial times, with many musicians unable to generate steady revenue due to the recent live music shut-downs and already facing a mainstream predominance when it comes to music streaming revenues, there is no doubt that independent artists around the world need all support they can get to create and share new music.
Our team is proud to announce the direct financial support from rights organization Buma/Stemra and the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science for their initiative, an investment fund for music, to help support artists and music publishers based in the Netherlands. In an effort to push forward more music productions and make way for new music to be shared.
We invited multiple talented musicians to participate, supervised by Tribe's Head of Music, Marko Roca, who challenged each artist to create something different, unique for this project and the result speaks for itself.
