Meet K.I.R.K.

K.I.R.K.'s biggest collaborations to date are his single: Detonate with Busta Rhymes in 2021 and his most recent single: Run It Up featuring Zaytoven in 2022.

In 2017, K.I.R.K. appeared in the 20th Anniversary of XXL with Sound Alive Records and featured the album: Elevation by Kirk & E. Smitty. In 2019, at the CC Community Awards, he won Best Hip-Hop Album award for his album: 825 Literature and Best Hip-Hop Track award for this track: Wonder.

Next to his music career, K.I.R.K. created and owns a lifestyle brand called 825 Grind LLC.
He defines his inspiration behind his brand as following:

“The 825 grind is the most intriguing hours of our lives. Kinetic energy is the only way to balance the positive & negative waves! I am only here to document it.”

K.I.R.K.'s 825 grind continues to expand as he collaborates with like-minded brands such as the late Nipsey Hussle's The Marathon Clothing brand and movement, with campaign designer and photographer; Jorge Peniche. Even though he is branching out, he remains true to his music.

Soul Hop - Released 2016
Jay Kirk and Ruler Why linked together for his rookie release, packed with originality in the truest form. It encompasses a combination of organic soul music and the classic boom bap sound. Ultimately, this project is a short biopic of Jay Kirk's journey as well as a scope in social awareness and morality in today's society. In essence, this EP has created a new sound coming out of Austin, Texas, better known as… Soul Hop.

The three track EP is very lyrically driven. I touched on a lot of topics that has had a personal impact on me. I wanted to highlight what music and society has turned into by incorporating modern & current sounds. It was an attempt to connect/bridge childhood foundations to modern day principles. Soul Hop is soul driven hip-hop that speaks to real realities & hardships. It is the modern day version of soul music with a hip hop cadence. - K.I.R.K.

School Days, Future, N Past - Released 2017
K.I.R.K's journey has been a unique one. He offers narrations from grade school to present, from middle school journeys to NFL triumphs, to the everyday business world. As well as his musical influence and getting involved in music. He opens up about his past, present, and future completely through this release. In hopes to give the people a raw, blunt and charismatic view of his life up to those days. - K.I.R.K.

825 Literature - Released 2018
825 Literature is a project with an intent to define daily grind principles. The album serves a pallet of raw triggers & emotions we experience as an underdog. The underdog always shines bright through faith, dedication, & love.

Music remains the only thing that connects every living thing in the universe. Vibrations mean everything.
