Lighter Soul Album

So here it is, my first album that I've ever shared with the world, or anyone really - Lighter Soul. The songs on this album were written over many years and mostly recorded more recently. I have made a lot of material since I started writing songs as a teenager, and this album contains material from then up until now. It has taken me awhile to feel confident enough in my material and ability to make a whole album with a cohesive statement. I think the COVID-19 pandemic has acted as a wake-up call for me that I needed to do this album all on my own, or it wouldn't happen at all. And, I got sick of waiting for perfection and feeling like I needed to prove myself to others with my music. It's a freeing thing to finally realize there's beauty and value in wherever you are at.

Lighter Soul is loneliness that isn't really so lonely. Old and new, light and dark coexist here. One couldn't exist without the other.
