This CD was distributed along with Wired Magazine's Nov 2004 issue. It is a collection of songs produced under Creative Commons, inspired by Creative Commons' remix website, ccMixter.
"Rip, mix, burn. Swap till you drop. The music cops can't do a thing - it's 100 percent legal, licensed by the bands. The Wired CD, copyrighted for the 21st century."
check out Wired Magazine's page for this release here, with a great article by Thomas Goetz.

An oldie and a goodie. Still add this CD to the mix now and then. Cheers to the artists, Wired, and the brilliant Creative Commons

Zap Mama comes through with some audio gold as does David Byrne. a little star power for your FMA mixtape...
